Review:

Teresa keeps the same velocity going with this newest addition to The Protectors series.  If you have come this far with her series then you know what to expect and she doesn’t disappoint.  You won’t get as much of the paranormal from Jax himself in this book but more in the ghosts and Adam learning more about his abilities. The romance keeps to the sweet caring side when Jax finally lets Caroline in.  It makes for a bit of talking out loud to the characters while dealing with the frustrating and stubborn Jax.  And Caroline is almost too darn nice.  I enjoy the bantering and parts of this book that make you laugh out loud.  This is still another great read by Teresa any way you look at it.

Review:

Teresa keeps this series going in a good way. Each warrior is different so you don’t get a repeat of the same stale story retold in each book. We get a lot of perspective from Jill’s point of view here. How she puts up with Slade has me shaking my head some of the time. Can you say grumpy gus? Be ready for the quick rough sex here. Slade is no gentle giant. Loved it and ready for the next one!

Lana is a spitfire who doesn’t let up when it comes to Sid.  He may have found a fun match in Lana who is always ready with a quick comeback.  We get some hot, hot action again in this book.  Adam wants to look into the trafficking to track down his Angel and gets into some trouble.  Sid is a fun read.

With our more serious warrior this book dips a little to the darker side of things.  Cue shiver….  The cover gives just the right vibe for this!  Pam makes some ultimate sacrifices for her friends which finally come to light leaving you ready to cry.  Sid keeps you laughing out loud just by being himself so you don’t drown in the sadness of the book.  Ready to see what else this series has to offer.

Jared is such a level character and easy to like.  His steady unflinching interest in Tessa starts from first sight when she holds him at gunpoint and leaves him tied him to a chair.  The action and excitement continues with Chad our villain from the first book Damon.  A more sinister plot comes to light threatening the warriors.  This story has a great flow and will have you smiling to yourself.

What a fun and sexy read.  It was an easy read without feeling dumbed down, which is a huge plus.  We have our warrior vampire who are all extremely protective of women and children, and Nicole whose life is her job as a social worker for human and vampire children both. Now that the vampire are no longer in hiding the humans have found a way to use their blood to “get a high.”  The blood of younger vampire is prime.  It has become a dangerous line of work now for Nicole.  Can Damon keep her safe and make her his true mate?
